Hello! My name is Sarah Bloomer.
I started in user experience when we called ourselves “usability engineers”. I have extensive experience with interactive software design, design research and UX team development. I’m best when working collaboratively to help teams find the right strategy, discover knowledge about their customers and apply that knowledge to experience and product design. Collaborative design allows me to mentor internal teams through product design expediently.
I’m based in Boston, Massachusetts.
I’m passionate about helping companies set up new UX teams or optimize their existing teams. My interest in teams and UX leadership led to invitations to speak on the topic of teams and UX maturity. I established the UX Managers Get Togethers to enable UX leaders to help each other.
When I’m not coaching, I’m leading or collaborating in design research and product strategy, coaching teams through design thinking to create human centered products and services.
