Interaction Design Short Courses to be offered in the Boston area.

Sarah Bloomer, experienced interaction designer for over 20 years, is offering a suite of short courses focusing on user interface and interaction design for GUIs, web applications and websites.

Each 3 hour course offers an overview of the topic with rapid hands-on exercises to provide direct experience applying a selection of techniques.

Courses will be offered in groups of 2 related courses, with the option of attending one course or both concurrently.

Set 1:

• Designing for workflow: mapping workflow and interaction
• Emerging trends in interaction design for web applications

Set 2:

• Design facilitation and collaborative design
• Sketching the UI: generative design techniques for evolving concepts

Set 3:

• Visual Design 101 for usability practitioners and information architects
• Design principles and effective layout
